Class Descriptions

  • Restore

    Restore classes are relaxing, feel-good classes for anyone with lower back, knee, or upper body pain. Or, anyone with general body aches and pains. Restore classes utilize meditation and soft tissue release. Participants will learn easy manual therapy and self-care techniques to do on their own at home. While Restore is more of a manual therapy type class - this is also the best place to start if you’re new to Pilates or movement. Class is very gentle, slow-paced, and perfect for those who want to feel better in their body. Restore utilizes foam rollers, bands, and therapy balls.

  • Move

    A step up from Restore, Move classes begin combining Restorative Movement and Basic Pilates Mat. This class focuses on improving alignment, flexibility, and strength while continuing to restore the body. Class is slow-paced and relaxing - but you will feel your muscles after class. Move classes are ideal for anyone looking to begin a Pilates practice, relieve stress, or begin building strength post-injury or rehabilitation. Modifications are given to improve flexibility and gain strength. It’s also a great place for anyone who has stepped away from movement classes for a while.

  • Align

    Classical Pilates class focused on bringing the body back into alignment. This is a beginner level class focused on Pilates Mat or Reformer exercises. Still true to our laid back, relaxing style. But focused on how you move and why. Class will help improve flexibility, balance and strength.
